Creating Subscriptions

Report subscriptions enable reports to be scheduled to run at specific times, to be triggered by an event and post the report results to a file share, or sent to recipients via email. This topic is covered in more detail in the “Optimizing SSRS Performance” section.

Tip: Enabling Subscriptions

You must enable subscriptions at the reporting server for the console settings discussed in this section to work.

From the ConfigMgr console, there are two ways to enable report subscriptions:

• From the menu, click the Create Subscription icon.

• Choose a report, right-click, and select Create Subscription.
