Security Scopes

Security roles define the operations a user can perform on each class of securable objects. You can further limit an administrative user’s access rights by specifying the securable objects users have for each role.

• To specify the set of devices and users an administrator can manage, assign specific device collections or user collections to the administrator. You can assign one or more collections to each user. You can also assign a different set of collections to a user for each role the user holds. By default, the All Systems and All Users collections are assigned to each administrative user.
