Using Roaming User Profiles
Roaming user profiles redirect the entire user profile to a file share, enabling the user to receive the same operating system and application settings configuration on multiple computers. Each time a user logs in to a computer with an account enabled for roaming profiles, his profile is downloaded to the local computer and merged with the local profile. The updated user profile is synchronized back to the profile share when the user logs off. To configure the roaming user profile configuration item, follow these steps:
1. In the ConfigMgr console, navigate to Assets and Compliance -> Compliance Settings -> User Data and Profiles. Click Create User Data and Profiles Configuration Item on the ribbon bar.
