Deploying WTG Media
WTG is not extremely popular, but it has many capabilities and a lot of potential to solve unique and difficult business challenges. The only real requirement for WTG itself is that you have a certified USB drive; requirements are listed at http://technet.microsoft.com/library/hh831833.aspx#wtg_hardware. You could use a noncertified drive, but as with all things not supported (or certified), results could be unpredictable. The process supported by ConfigMgr is not intended for mass creation of WTG media; it enables an end user (or administrator) to build WTG media themselves, one at a time.
