3 Risks and Risk Management

This chapter documents thoughts about risks and risk management systemically and systematically from the nine holistic thinking perspectives (HTPs) and suggests generic risk mitigation and prevention activities. Systemic perceptions of risks using the HTPs include the risk management process, the risk rectangle, risk profiles and risk trees. Perceptions of risk management from the various HTPs include the following.
