I remember the time when only the really cool kids worked on Linux. Windows was for serious people. That was where the work was done. Sure, many servers ran Unix or Linux, but those working on those platforms were considered somewhat weird. They usually had beards, wore sandals, and spoke a language none of the rest of the people had ever heard.
