Go on Safari

Along with App Store and Messages, Safari is one of iOS’s most important apps. Let’s start with a look at Safari’s controls in Figure 68.

From left to right, these controls are:

  • Back/Forward: Tap either to go backward or forward in your browsing history. Tap and hold either to see your recent history.

  • Bookmarks: Tap this to see bookmarks, your reading list, and entire browsing history. See Discover and Store Links.

  • Address/Search: Here is where you enter URLs and search terms. See Search in Safari.
