Although Time Machine has a very simple user interface, behind the scenes it's doing some highly complex tasks. Like any sophisticated piece of software, it has some bugs and flaws. I fully expect that most of the problems with Time Machine will disappear eventually. For now, however, review these tips to prevent problems, or fix ones that have already occurred.
When you restart your computer, it won't automatically mount the network volumes that were mounted previously.
