As I mentioned earlier in Windows 7 and Boot Camp, as of publication time, Apple hadn't yet officially claimed Boot Camp support for Windows 7, and has stated that when they do, a software update will be needed—presumably available only for Snow Leopard users. Even without the promised update, numerous people have reported successfully installing Windows 7 following essentially the same procedure as for Windows Vista, although various bugs and incompatibilities are known to exist.
