The Drawing Tools
As I pointed out in Line art is special, modifying standard PDF graphic path objects is currently beyond PDFpen’s capabilities. However, PDFpen has drawing tools that you can use to create graphic objects within a PDF. PDFpen’s graphic objects contain additional editing information so that you can continue to modify them within PDFpen, even though they appear and behave in other PDF viewers as regular graphic path objects.
The drawing tools are similar to such tools found in many other programs, and probably look familiar to you. Here are the kinds of graphic objects you can create in PDFpen:
