Enhance Video Conferencing
The restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic may have lifted, but video conferencing via FaceTime, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and similar services is now a permanent part of our computing lives. (For example, before the pandemic, I often gave in-person presentations to Apple user groups, but nowadays, meeting via Zoom is nearly always assumed—and some groups no longer bother meeting in person at all anymore.)
Because so many people are using video conferencing to show presentations in apps like Keynote and PowerPoint, demonstrate things by sharing their screen, or otherwise spruce up what might be a boring “taking head” call, a number of apps have sprung up to provide more control than simply a shared window ...
