Setting Up a Point of Purchase
I’m going to admit right up front that this particular section may not be totally applicable to every reader. But bear with me. It’s fun, and makes for a surprisingly effective, and slightly disturbing, demo.
Snow Globe Theater is, of course, a theater. As such, it has a box office. However, in the case of the Snow Globe, it’s quite a bit more “box” than “office.” It’s small. At the box office, people come in and want to buy tickets right there, not even over the Internet or anything.
Asking those people to stand in the lobby and access the website on their phones was dismissed as poor customer service, so the theater would like to build a point-of-purchase system that would allow an employee in the box office ...
