Set Up Your Mac mini and Create Your iCloud Account
After connecting the monitor, keyboard, pointing device, and other accessories to your Mac mini, you need to set up OS X and create your user account before you can start using the computer. Your user account is where you store your files and settings on your Mac mini.
The first user account you create is the Administrator account, which you use to create other accounts later for other users. You may also choose to create a personal account for yourself, leaving the Administrator account strictly for administration.
