Chapter 4

Editing and Proofing Text

In this chapter, you learn to use Word’s features for editing and proofreading documents. After starting with Read Mode view, you move on to zooming in and out, translating text, and using additional actions. Next, you see how to search for and replace text, count the words in a document, correct mistakes automatically, and automatically insert frequently used text items. Finally, you learn how to check grammar and spelling and how to find synonyms, antonyms, and definitions for words.
