Planning a Meeting
When you realize a meeting is necessary, you first need to think of how you want to meet. Do you call the people? Do you schedule a meeting with them? Should it be in a channel? Does it include external people? These questions all impact the type of meeting you’ll want to use and how you’ll find the right time to meet. On top of that, always consider meeting best practices, like preparing an agenda, having a person to take notes, tracking action items, and planning any follow-up meetings. Don’t just dive into a meeting. A good meeting is one that’s planned and well thought out.
