Create a Signature
In an e-mail message, a signature is a small
amount of text that appears at the bottom of
the message. Rather than typing this
information manually, you can create the
signature once and then have Entourage insert
the signature into any message you create.
Signatures usually contain personal contact information, such as
your phone numbers, business address, and e-mail and Web site
addresses. Some people supplement their signatures with wise or
witty quotations.

Can I get Entourage to
add my signature
automatically?
Yes. You can associate a
signature with an e-mail
account. Click Entourage and
then click Account Settings
to open the Accounts dialog.
Click the Mail tab and then double-
click the e-mail account you want to work with. In
the Edit Account dialog, click the Options tab.
Click the Default signature
, click the signature
you want to associate with the account, and then
click OK.
How do I add the signature
to a message?
First, start a new mail
message, add the recipients,
the subject line, and your
message text. Position the
insertion point cursor below
your message text. Click
Message and then click Signature
(or click the Signature button (
) in the toolbar)
to see a menu of your signatures. Click the
signature you want to use. Entourage adds the
signature to the message.

9 Repeat Steps 3 to 7 to add more
signatures, if necessary.
Note: It is common to have different signatures
for different types of messages. For example,
many people use one signature for business
messages and another for personal messages.
