groups, which is useful if you want to view just a
subset of your contacts. You can create a group
first and then add members, or you can select
members in advance and then create the group.

Working with Contacts
chapter
20
Can I set up a
meeting with the
group?
Yes. If you often invite
the same people to a
meeting, create a group
that consists of those
contacts. You can then
use that group to invite each
person to a meeting. In the
Address Book list, click the group and then click
Invite in the toolbar.
Can I send an e-mail
message to the group?
Yes. This is one of the
best reasons to create a
group. Normally, sending
an e-mail message to
multiple contacts involves
typing or selecting multiple
addresses. With a group,
however, you send a single message to the group,
and Entourage automatically sends a copy to each
member. In the Address Book list, click the group
and then click E-mail in the toolbar.
●
The contacts you selected appear
in the group list.
5 In the Group name text box, type
a name for the group.
6 To add another contact to the
group, click Add.
7 Type the contact’s address.
If the person is in your Address
Book, you can also type his or her
name.
8 Press + to save your work.
9 Click .
Entourage closes the editing
window.
