6.11. Insert Flash Video Files

You can add audio and video files to Web pages in a variety of formats, including Windows Media Audio and Video and QuickTime. When you insert video and audio files in the Flash format, Dreamweaver provides more options for how the files play in your Web pages. Flash Video files have the .flv extension.

Note: You must have the Flash Player on your computer to play a Flash Video file. If the Flash Player is not installed, the browser displays a dialog box with instructions for downloading the player.
