Dreamweaver's visual aids make is possible to see things that are not there, such as the outline of a div tag or the border of a table. These visual aids make it easier to manage the features of your site and to edit your page designs.

Although visual aids are helpful, sometimes you may prefer to turn them off so that you can see how your designs will look without all the borders and outlines.
