We saw in chapter 4 that JMP is a terrific partner to have when performing regression diagnosis. We breezed through a regression analysis of the gastric emptying time data with ease, generally checking the assumptions for the straight-line model with gratifying results. The data turned out to be decently well behaved, so we could safely operate under the presumption of meeting the assumptions.
