Authors’ Biographies

 

 

For 50 years, Dr. Glenn Rand has produced images, taught, and written about photography. His photographs are in more than 30 public collections in the United States, Europe, and Japan, and he has exhibited widely. He received his Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from Purdue University, with a Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati and post-doctoral research as a Rackham Scholar at the University of Michigan. He received the Kenneth Lassiter Excellence in Education Award. He has published and lectured extensively about photography and digital imaging, ranging from aesthetics to commercial photography and various specialized techniques.
