Organizing multiple projects with templates

It often happens that multiple comparable project configurations which should go in parallel need to be created and maintained at the same time. There is a simple way to create a similar project with minor differences without having to create it and set up all of its tedious settings from scratch. In TeamCity, this action is called "copy". With administrator privileges, you may copy any given project configuration to a new one.

Working with our sample project, we might need to separate our single build into two—a development build running against unit tests, and a deployment build running without unit tests but producing packaged a WAR file at the end.
