Teaming potentially begins when two or more people decide to join in some discussion or enterprise. Note, however, the cautionary word, potentially. Collective efforts must meet stringent teaming standards before being admitted into that select category. These standards derive from the overarching philosophies of quality management and project management, discussed in Chapters 1–4.
