Frame the Work
Are you building a wall or a cathedral? When doing the work, it is easy to think we are just building a wall. After all, in some sense, a cathedral is just a collection of walls. But that is not very inspiring. A wall may be important, but its framing doesn’t make one believe they are involved in something truly worthy of their best efforts. But when we are building a cathedral, the perspective becomes completely different. In that case, we are engaged in the creation of something magnificent. We are part of something amazing that has the great potential to change the world.
