Engage in Challenge

The value of challenge cannot be overstated. Most people are not very good with challenge. However, given its importance in how teams function and the benefit constructive challenge can have on an organization, I think it behooves us to define the term. When I talk about challenge, I am referring to the ability of people to actively and vocally disagree and creating the conditions necessary for what I will call equanimous disagreement to take place.
