Configure WordPress

With WordPress correctly installed, it’s time for us to start configuring the default installation. Log in to your admin section again by appending /wp-admin to the URL of your blog and by using the credentials for the WordPress account you created during the setup stage.

Once logged in, feel free to explore the dashboard to see the wealth of options available to you. In this section, I’ll simply point out some key configuration options that will affect your blogging experience. For everything else, use the defaults or adjust to taste.

Pages Menu
