A Quick Release for Drops

Usually when we hang a drop, we expect it to stay hung until strike. We’re so used to keeping drops in the air that most of us are at least momentarily stumped when we have to rig one to fall off a batten. This article describes a quick-release device that will let drops fall to the floor on cue.
