Focusable Cue Lights |
The Yale School of Drama’s new flexible theatre needed cue lights for its inaugural production, The Skriker. Not happy with the look of our stock pigtail cue lights, I designed the custom cue lights shown in Figure 1. These cue lights are easy to build and install and, most importantly, they can be focused to mask the bulbs from most seats in the house. Figure 1 shows a finished unit.

MATERIALS
Though the spare parts and scrap material I used were free, cue lights like these could be made of materials totaling not more than $25.00. The necessary parts are listed below.
