Terms

Bug: A small logo or score/clock/time period graphic.

CG (character generator): A generic name for any type of television graphic creation equipment. CGs can change fonts, shape, size, color, and design of the lettering.

Crawl: The movement of the graphics horizontally across the screen.

Credits: Recognize those appearing in and contributing to the program.

End titles: Draw the program to its conclusion.

Font: A specific size, weight, and style of typeface.

Lower third (L/3rd): A graphic that appears in the lower third of the screen.

Opening titles: Introduce the show to the audience.
