Know Your Grammar Rules

In this lesson we'll examine the grammatical mistakes we see most often in our workshops. If you want more in-depth grammar instruction, please refer to the Appendix A, "Recommended Resources."

There may be times when you choose to break some of the following rules or other rules of grammar. For example, you may choose to end a sentence with a preposition because the options for correct grammar are more awkward. We suggest that you do so only occasionally. Don't lose credibility in your writing by ignoring good grammar.
