When you start Access the next time you want to use your database, you won't create a new one from scratch, of course, as you did in Lesson 5. You'll open your existing one.
The easiest way to open a database you've recently used is to select it from the File menu. Follow these steps:
Open the File menu. You'll see up to four databases you've recently used listed at the bottom of the menu.
Click on the database you want to open.
If the database you want to open isn't listed, you'll need to use the following procedure instead:
Select File, Open or click the Open button on the toolbar. The Open dialog box appears (see Figure 6.3).
