User-Level Security (Network Only)

Access is designed for group use, so it has some powerful features that let you control the access to the database by users or groups. These features aren't useful for stand-alone computers; you have to be on a network.

You can use Tools, Security, User and Group Accounts to create profiles for users and groups, and then Tools, Security, User and Group Permissions to give permissions for each object in the open database. See your network administrator for help if needed.
