Ordering Items by Difficulty

Item difficulty values are the p-values. The computation of p-values is covered in the item analysis section of this technical appendix (chapter 16).

To sort the items by p-value, use the mouse and cursor to highlight the item code and the p-value data columns. Both columns need to be highlighted because otherwise p-values might be sorted, alone, thereby losing the item codes. Make sure to highlight the column labels item code and p-value.
