Abstract
This chapter describes the techniques and intricacies of joining materials used in the production of sportswear products. It also explains the stitches and seams used in the production of these garments and focuses particularly on the machines used in their manufacture in order to give a detailed explanation of how to produce high-quality products. The chapter also contains checklists of problems that can occur whilst stitching these garments and discusses the issues involved.
