Here’s a question. Can you think of a time at work when you had some bad news to share or a concern to raise but held back from speaking because of fear? Fear doesn’t make bad news go away, fear makes bad news go into hiding. When I recently asked this question at a conference of over a thousand managers, around 85% put their hands up.
