This chapter will take you through the process of supporting two parties to resolve a relatively low-level conflict by adopting the role of ‘resolution agent’. As well as suggesting tools to practise, it will give you principles to work to. It is very unlikely that you will work to all the stages of the ‘assignment’ at once.
