PRINCIPLE 5: BUILD A CULTURE OF EARLY CONFLICT RESOLUTION

This chapter is intended to support you build a culture of early resolution. This means creating an environment in which individuals are enabled to take responsibility for the conflict situations they find themselves in and learn and grow from them. The intended end result goes beyond a reduction of court battles and the emotional stress and financial consequences that result, replacing them with a more functional, empowered, efficient working environment.

Through a good culture of conflict resolution, we become much more efficient and creative. We place ourselves in a position to create and build unity despite, and sometimes because of, our differences.
