The color management system in Lightroom requires no configuration, since Lightroom automatically manages the colors without your having to worry about profile mismatches, which color space the image is in, or what the default workspace is. There may be problems with missing profiles, but this only applies to imported files where a conscious decision has already been made to not color-manage an image.
