Adaptability

Adaptability is an attractive quality. We all like to think of ourselves as being flexible and adaptable. It means that we are not rigid or stuck and so are open to change and challenge. I think if you were to ask most people if they consider themselves to be open and adaptable, they would tell you ‘yes’.

What is adaptability?

Adaptability can be defined as the ability to change (or be changed) to fit altered circumstances. Every one of us has the basic capability to be adaptable; without this being hard-wired in us we would not be able to function in the world. Throughout our lives we adapt, and indeed have to.
