Agile evolution within the enterprise is often visualized as ripples in a pond. The agile champion, coach, or consultant throws a stone into the pond by assembling the initial agile teams and using agile methods to deliver a pilot project. The pilot teams start to experience improved results, and to make them visible. The successes and challenges of that initial pilot expose obstacles and broken processes.
