13.1 Suppliers and Intermediaries

Most companies are fully reliant on suppliers of products and services for their business activities. Sometimes a company does not sell its products and services directly to customers, but through intermediaries such as wholesalers, retailers, and agents. Both suppliers and intermediaries add significant value to the products and services offered by the company in a direct or indirect manner.
