When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Elena Aguilar is a teacher, coach, and consultant with more than 20 years of experience working in schools. She has taught Grades 2–10 and has a particular love for middle school students. She has been an instructional coach, a leadership coach, and a central office administrator.
Elena is the founder of Elena Aguilar Consulting (www.elenaaguilar.com). She and her associates facilitate professional development for coaches, teachers, and administrators in public, charter, and private schools across the United States. Elena also consults with districts that are developing a coaching program and with leaders engaging in transformational change. She continues to coach school leaders in the San Francisco Bay Area.
