ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
The number of people who have impacted my life over the past 40 years is truly stunning when I look back to consider where I came from and where I am now. First and foremost, I would like to thank all of the incredible people that I have had the privilege to work with over the past 20 years at Improv Asylum and Laugh Boston. From actors and comedians to co‐owners, from front of house to corporate office, to music, tech, students, and audiences, each individual has left an indelible mark on who I am today. Nothing I have achieved happens without all of you. “Thank you” does not even begin to convey the gratitude that I have toward all of you, but it is a start.
It is a rare thing when people in your life support you to the point where success or failure almost does not seem to matter. My incredible wife Kelly decided it was a good idea to date a comedian who lived in a pantry, and has stuck around ever since. So much of what I have achieved comes directly from the fact that this amazing woman never once questioned what I was doing or why. That kind of faith breeds incredible confidence. Or madness. Either way, this doesn't happen without her.
To my oldest friends from Grafton, Massachusetts: We may have shared our formative years together, and in this we are not so unique. The fact that you so vocally and personally continue to support all the crazy shit that I do makes me incredibly proud to still say I'm a kid Straight Outta Grafton.
To the UMass gang: It was ...
