MISTAKES
Alice received a call from an exasperated vice president at a nonprofit. Rebecca explained that she had two major gift officers who were both highly successful and integral to the fundraising efforts. The problem was that they didn’t get along with each other, and it was affecting fundraising.
“I DON’T KNOW WHAT the issue is. Madison and John are both reasonable people and great fundraisers, but they just can’t seem to get along with each other. I need them to work as a team on some projects, but they won’t collaborate. I’m concerned that this will affect our overall fundraising.”
