HOLE
The interplay of light and shadow is very important here.
Unlike some of the other projects that seem to protrude from the page, this project delves into the paper and teaches you to paint a 3D hole. Although the image itself is fairly straightforward, it looks extremely striking. Your goal will be to achieve an effect that makes it look as though the hole actually dips below the surface of the paper. This can be accomplished using realistic shading and a few painting tricks.
