Like Pillar 4, Pillar 5 is different from the earlier Pillars.

Pillar 5 is Creativity. It offers a unique perspective on generating solutions to drive growth and success within your organization. This Pillar places significant emphasis on problem-solving and creative thinking, key drivers of innovation, engagement and profitability.

In Pillar 3, you were introduced to the Participation Spectrum, where you explored the five distinct levels of participation in collaborative settings, a framework highly relevant in the context of creative idea contribution. As you consider your role in the creative process ask yourself, which of the following resonates with you?

  • I am passive (Level 1). I keep my ideas to myself and don't share them.
  • I am reactive (Level 2). I share my ideas only when prompted.
  • I am proactive (Level 3). I openly share my ideas to add value to the conversation.
  • I am interactive (Level 4). I actively contribute my ideas and implement existing ideas.
  • I am co-creative (Level 5). I am dedicated to creating something new, building upon the collective intelligence and ideas in the room.
