Entrepreneurs must be willing to risk everything in order to move forward. So what if this entrepreneur journey is greater than you can ever imagine? What happens if it works? My initial goal for BrainTrust Founders Studio was to raise $2.5 million. I felt comfortable because I had done it before. I wasn't envisioning the greater version of my vision that would later manifest itself.

I have always been a glass-half-full person, and I always start with believing in the greatest outcome. I trust people quickly and expect everyone to do the right thing. While it doesn't always work out that way and I have experienced setbacks from trusting too fast, leaning in too hard, and believing that certain people were out for my good when really they never had the intention of doing the right thing, I will always choose positivity, faith in the best outcome, and that things can and will be greater than you can imagine.

What I have learned is that we can single-handedly restrict and constrain our dreams. The mind is a powerful tool, and we can suppress the expansion of our ideas when we get in our own way. For ...
