At breakfast, I told my family about my encounter with Henry on my early morning run. The kids nodded in mild interest and said that it sounded cool, but they were more focused on the Sunday farm activities. My husband was more enthusiastic. Although he had studied finance and was the CFO of our company, he'd always had a creative side that many people didn't get to see. In fact, he's the one who came up with the name of our company, Essentially Proximal, which I love. “Proximal” means toward the center of the body and closest to the heart. That had always resonated with me – quite literally.

After breakfast, the entire family went to the barn where the cow‐milking activity was set up for the kids. The girls started talking to their new friends; the parents all made a friendly gesture and acknowledgment of each other. Each family had a stool and some buckets with their name written on it. It was an adorable setup, and the girls were dressed in their farmer attire, pretty much resembling Helen, with their pigtails, black jeans and their cowgirl hats. I laughed to myself as I thought of that bow Helen had on when we first met resembling a bee. I realized it was not a coincidence and the universe was talking to me again.
