Configuring an AirPort Extreme from Windows

Apple's AirPort Extreme access point is more expensive than many other products that will do the same thing without the special Macintosh configuration program. So it's likely that most people and most businesses that use an AirPort Extreme will have one or more Macintoshes in their networks. Therefore, the Macintosh Admin Utility is generally the best choice for setting up an AirPort Extreme network.

However, Apple also offers free software that you can use to set up and run an AirPort Extreme network from a computer running Windows.
