Think About Others Differently

THE CAMINO IS AN INTENSE EXPERIENCE IN MEETING MANY NEW PEOPLE, from many different places, in a short time. Pilgrims are exposed to many different cultures and languages. For me, it rivaled the culture shock from my first weeks of college, when I was a Midwestern teenager from a suburban high school starting at a big-city East Coast university. The Camino taught me to think differently about others in three ways.
